“Filter coffee & Jam” by Divin Arts Company

The gathering was envisioned and brought to life by Myriam Divin, the founder of Divin Indian Arts. As a dedicated Kalakshetra student, Myriam’s profound proficiency in both music and dance shone through every aspect of the festival. Under the brilliant guidance of Artistic Directors Yadou Shan and Kavitha Jaganathan, the event offered a multi-day immersive experience in the French capital. Attendees were treated to specialized workshops in dance and photography—including a dedicated photography wing featuring Atharsha Photography—before the festival culminated in its main showcase.

The final presentation was a breathtaking celebration of classical arts, elevated by the magic of live music. For our dance performance, we had the honor of presenting a rich and dynamic repertoire that included the vibrant, rhythmic invocation of the Mallari, deeply expressive Slokas, and the intricate emotional storytelling of the Angayarkanni Varnam in Ragamalika. We also performed a joyful Thillana in Raga Hindolam, showcasing brisk footwork and sculpturesque poses. It was an absolute privilege to share the stage and creative space with a lineup of world-class artists, including Renjith Babu, Thomas Vo Van Tao, Yamini Kalluri, and Rishi Raj.

This presentation was brought to life by an incredible ensemble of accompanying musicians and performing artists who elevated the entire experience. The brilliant musical orchestra featured Sonna, Amrutha, and Raghav on vocals; Mathushan and Nitharshan on mridangam; Charles Pragash and Anagha on violin; and Suraj on flute. The stage was further graced by the captivating movements of dancers Sivetha, Lhassa, Priyanka, and Artana. Special recognition also goes to the wonderful contributions of Sarbajit, Sweety Pudoo, and Usha Jey, who all added immense value to this creative collective.
