Hindi Diwas, Madrid 2025

This year’s Hindi Diwas was celebrated with great fervor in Madrid, under the patronage of the Embassy of India. The event, a vibrant showcase of Indian culture and language, took place on September 14, 2025.

The celebration featured a variety of activities, including a captivating poetry recital where participants shared their love for Hindi through their verses. A highlight of the evening was a beautiful performance of a Hindi bhajan dedicated to Lord Krishna and a song dedicated to Ganesha, presented in the graceful Bharatanatyam style. The dance, performed by myself along with Vinatha and Natasha, was a heartfelt tribute that blended devotion with the classical art form.

The evening concluded with a ceremony where diplomas were awarded to all participants and winners of the poetry recital, recognizing their efforts and contributions to the promotion of Hindi language and literature. The event was a testament to the growing interest in Indian culture in Spain and a successful initiative by the Embassy of India in Madrid.
